Pikkly exists because the advertised price of almost everything a developer rents is not the price they end up paying. A domain is cheap for a year and then four times dearer. Hosting is $1 a month until the term ends. A cloud instance is quoted by the hour so the monthly number never gets said out loud. Egress is invisible until the invoice arrives.
So every table here is built around the number you actually pay: the renewal, the three-year total, the monthly equivalent, the cost per GB of RAM, the cost of one GPU for one hour. Where a provider takes a margin over wholesale, we show the margin.
It is a static site with no database, no accounts and no tracking cookies. The data is open, the collection method is written down, and the code that gathers it fails loudly rather than guessing when a source changes shape.
Who
Pikkly is independent, with no investors and no editorial relationship with any provider it prices. Corrections, takedown requests and “you priced us wrong” emails all go to hello@pikkly.dev and get acted on.
How it pays for itself
Labelled affiliate links inside Deploy and Register blocks, and nothing else. No sponsored rankings, no paid placement, no advertising. Providers that pay nothing are listed and rank first wherever they are cheapest. The full list of who does and does not pay us is on the affiliate disclosure page.
Found a wrong price?
Tell us. Every row links to the page it came from, so the quickest correction is an email with the row and the source URL. Parsers break when providers redesign, and the site is built to make that obvious rather than to hide it.
